North West Stove Installations

A few words from some previous customers.

After discovering that our previous work was not safe and that we paid way over the odds; Bill provided us with honest, safe and professional advice. He was able to spot numerous problems with our existing installation and suggest ways to rectify them without too much upheaval.

His work was to the highest standard, clean and good value for money. He was reliable and kept us well informed throughout. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others. A genuine and decent bloke!"

Gemma McGregor - Hoghton

"From the first phone call we knew we had chosen the right man, all our questions were answered and things we hadn't thought about explained. Ours wasn't a straight forward installation either, it involved moving a water heater and going through a cupboard in the office next door, this was a complicated procedure.

Bill was calm and knowledgeable in all aspects as the installation progressed. He gave us confidence in our decision to have a multi fuel stove. We have just had our stove given its twelve month service.

Bill gave us advice on the fuels which would be best to burn when the stove was first installed and also enquired when servicing, what fuels we had used and explained how this impacted on the amount of soot generated. We have passed Bill's name on to other people who are thinking about getting a stove. We certainly feel you can't go wrong if you decide to use Bill."

Gordon & Maxine - Samlesbury Hall

"Bill did a marvellous job when he installed our multi fuel stove. He was polite and courteous and very knowledgeable and he completed the whole task quickly, cleanly and efficiently. I would strongly recommend Bill's work."

Kevin Salmon - Proprietor Rivington Barn

"I can't rate Bill Healey highly enough. In a nutshell this guy isn't just a HETAS engineer, he's a problem solver and all round top bloke.

I originally contacted a few HETAS registered installers asking for help many of whom turned us away. We'd had some building work done and our builder had said he could line the chimneys for us and get the stoves installed. Thinking nothing of it we told him to crack on. However after some difficulties, we decided to find an installer to get it finished properly and Bill was great at picking up the mantle of what turned out to be a real safety hazard.

Aside from the fact the builder had installed a flue liner upside down amongst other things, he had had difficulties getting the flue down our chimney cavity and to ease it through had used a piece of black guttering and a traffic cone as well as nylon rope attached half way up the liner leaving us with a potential fire hazard.

So why write this here. If there's one bit of advice I can give you its to use a HETAS installer (and Bill should be your first call) all the way throughout a stove installation. Bill responded quickly, was professional and provided peace of mind after what was a potential catastrophe.

Now when my wife and I crank up our 5kw Charnwood stove (which is awesome by the way and belts out the heat) we know we're burning safely and it was one of the best decisions we made when renovating our home."

"I used the services of Bill Healey for the supply and fit of a stove within a bespoke build Oak Office, a far from straightforward job, but one that Bill undertook and completed with efficiency and to a very high standard. I am delighted. Indeed I am so pleased I am having him back to fit another stove in our home."
